New Poker Site Targets Asian Market

Poker Ace goes live

Poker fans from the Asia-Pacfic region will have a lot to look forward to in light of a new launch focusing on their market and offering proprietary no-download software under a First Cagayan licence in the Philippines.

The new offering is available at the Poker Ace website which includes games such as No Limit Texas Holdem, Pot Limit Texas Holdem, and Fixed Limit Texas Holdem as well as 13 Cards or Chinese Poker, and three distinct rake structures.

It has been specified that more titles are to become available in near future and that for the time being, players can take part in ring games, Sit and Go tournaments, and multi-table tournaments, with all the services available in English and Chinese 24/7.

In addition, the new venture&s website reads: “PokerAce is an online poker network supported by some of Asia&s largest and most reputable gaming operators, including Dafabet, IBC Bet and Sun Game. We aim to connect sportsbook and casino customers together with poker, mahjong and Asian card game players from across the Asia region.”

Also, to make its services even more appealing to the wider public, the site has engaged former WSOP champ Joe Hachem for its pro team, as well as Nam Le and JC Tran.

It was commented by Hachem that “Asia is a rapidly growing market and a poker room dedicated to this region is long overdue. JC, Nam and I have had input into the development of the platform and we aim to become the preferred destination for poker players in the Asia region over the next months.”

So far, players from US and most other countries with specific online gambling regulations in place are not accepted at the site, indicating the operator&s intention to keep the clean slate for any potential expansion.
