Online Poker In Nevada This Spring, Says 3G CEO

James Costa, CEO of online gambling software and video game developer 3G, having high hopes about legalised online poker said it could be a fact of life in Nevada as soon as this spring.

3G has already applied for a Nevada online poker licence whilst making a commercial deal with the Eldorado Casino.

It is obvious Kosta has wider ambitions than poker when saying that online gaming is the next big wave for the gaming industry, although there are still political and legislative hurdles to be cleared.

“What we are looking forward to is two, three, or four years from now at a federal level, you’ll be able to start gambling on casual games and arcade games with your friends,” he said.

A debate this week between local Congressional candidates Shelley Berkley and Dean Heller, in which Heller claimed that Congress will pass a law legalising online poker by the end of this year adds to Kosta’s observations.
