Online Gambling Debated by Senate Committee on Indian Affairs

No witnesses listed in the planned discussion

An informative announcement was published on the National Tribal Gaming Commissioners Regulators Facebook page this week, informing interested parties that the US Senate Committee on Indian Affairs has scheduled a hearing on ‘Regulation of Tribal Gaming: From Brick and Mortar to the Internet.’

According to the announcement, the hearing will be held on July 26 at room 628 in the Dirksen Bldg, and it was added by the senate committee chaired by Daniel Akaka that proceedings will be webcast.

This will be the third occasion on which the committee has discussed gambling. However, so far, no witness list was published or referred to.
